My family was in town from LA and we went to Nice Matin before our trip to the Natural History Museum. I ordered a virgin bloody mary and a cheeseburger. The burger was cooked just the way that I liked it. It was bloody and juicy, and delicious. The french fries were also crispy and also chewy in the center so it reached perfection.The service was quick, and the food and the bloody mary had the right amount of flavor. Our waitresses were also really kind and accommodating. The salad that came on the side of my moms dish was really good and didn't include too much or too little dressing. Overall I could see how this is the perfect spot for brunch and for people who are looking to dine near the museum if they're going to be there for the whole day.

I like the brunch menu. Good service. I like they have the white table cloth on their tables. It brings a good atmosphere especially when you got a table on a street side terrace in sunny morning.

I came here with my parents for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We made reservations for 1:30pm, but there were plenty of tables open. I had the salmon Benedict, which was served with potatoes and a green salad. I thought everything was good. Standard brunch fare. For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée and the dark chocolate soufflé. Both were incredible! Our server was really nice, as well.

This is indeed a great place to have a nice matin (morning in French)! I ordered the Pommes Paillasson ($26), which was a unique dish where every part of it was delicious and served a different culinary purpose. The shredded potato "pancake" was perfectly crispy and not too heavy, the smoked salmon on top was delicious as per usual, the onion gave a nice sharp flavor that wasn't overpowering, the sour cream added some creaminess to complement the crispiness of the pancake, and the fried capers added some nice crunch. I also tried the Croque Madame ($24), which is a French brunch classic. This one was loaded with ham and gruyere cheese on fluffy brioche bread and topped with a fried egg to make for a filling and scrumptious meal. It also came with a side salad, which was fresh and good as well. To drink, I got a Peach Bellini ($13). While it was a bit of a small size, it was refreshing and tasty. It was quite busy when I came for weekend brunch, but we were still able to get two seats at the bar without a reservation or any wait. The interior is beautifully decorated with a combination of modern trendy design and more traditional decor / French artwork. The space is fairly large and open. The staff are friendly and attentive. The service speed is pretty quick. Overall, I would highly recommend Nice Matin if you are interested in a delicious French brunch on the Upper West Side.

It was a great escape from the flooding outside! The indoor was so calming and bright. I really enjoyed talking to the waitress and getting her recommendations. The egg Benedict was so good but the last few bites tasted a little salty. The ice tea was so good but you have to add your own sugar which they have on the table. This a great experience and I really enjoyed it.

I had a really lovely brunch here today! My friend and I had no problem getting a last minute reservation the day before. We were seated inside and the service was quick, but we were never rushed! That's such a huge plus for me, especially when catching up with a friend. We both had a mimosa, and it was great! Definitely a good ratio of prosecco to OJ. I had the Pommes Paillasson. I've never had anything like it! It was like a smoked salmon, potato pancake pizza. If you love smoked salmon, you will love this! My friend had the lamb scramble and loved it too. If you are looking for a great French brunch on the UWS, this is you spot! It was a great experience!
